NORMAN HANNOTTE

Director, Program Management

Norman Hannotte joined True Digital Surgery in 2019 as a Principal System Engineer, in charge of architectural development, project management, regulatory submission and design verification/validation. He was promoted to his current role in April 2022.

Norman has 18 years of experience in technology, including a broad portfolio of projects across the consumer and OEM electronics, automotive, defense, medical and industrial sectors. Working for companies such as General Electric, Flir Systems, and Karl Storz Imaging, he has successfully led developments that have generated millions of dollars of revenue, with products such as commercial air quality monitors, heavy-duty automotive emissions sensors, industrial infrared cameras and medical flexible endoscopes. Norman received the General Electric Energy Services Impact Award in 2009 and the General Electric Early Career Achievement Award in 2011. He has been awarded two patents.

An Alberta, Canada native, he earned a Bsc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta, and following a move to the U.S., then completed an MBA from Arizona State University.

Norman lives in Santa Barbara with his wife Jennifer and children Westin and Wynona. Passionate about playing ice hockey and loves camping, he is also an active volunteer, including as Cubmaster for the Cub Scouts Pack 36, and as parent volunteer for the Girl Scouts Troop 55524.
