BARRY STAGG

Director, Marketing

Prior to joining TDS in December 2019, Stagg led global marketing and communications activities as Chief Marketing Officer for Legend 3D, providing visual effects services for film studios, broadcast, TV networks and brands. Before that three-year stint, Stagg served as Group Managing Director of Strategic Communications for the global litigation team representing Henrik Nørremark, the former CFO/COO of Vestas Wind Systems.

Previously, Stagg was Chief Communications Officer at Sync Beatz Entertainment, a marketing and licensing agency launching global brands into the North American market, among them, Tamagotchi L.i.f.e., a lifestyle line of products based on Bandai’s enormously popular digital pet of the 1990’s.

He served four years as SVP, Corporate Communications at 4Kids Entertainment; was VP, Marketing Communications for Ascent Media Group, the Liberty Media-owned rollup of over 70 film/video post- production facilities worldwide; headed corporate communications at Homestore.com (now Move.com); was SVP, Corporate Communications at Fox Family Worldwide/Saban Entertainment; and VP, Publicity, Promotion & Advertising at Norman Lear’s Tandem/T.A.T./Embassy Television. He also served as a news writer and reporter at WINS Radio, the Associated Press and the New York Daily News.

Stagg has served on the Board of Directors of the Entertainment Professional Publicists Society (EPPS), as well as an Adjunct Professor of Public Relations in the Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Southern California.
