ALLEN STADTMILLER

Director, Operations

Stadtmiller joined True Digital Surgery in June 2022 following an extensive career working in highly regulated businesses with C-Suite executives, leading product development, process development, and ongoing manufacturing of medical devices. A Licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Project Management Professional, he is Proficient in Business, Product, and Environmental Risk Management and Product Development Life Cycle using Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies, skilled in contract negotiation, process automation, and process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), FDA QSR 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and proficient in directing facilities and maintenance.

He joined TDS from Stryker/TMJ Concepts, where as Director of Operations and Product Development, he led operations for a Class III medical device, including product and process development, process validation strategy, facilities, clinical specialists, and distribution. Through his guidance, monthly product output was doubled as he reshaped business practices and operations, scaled up operations, added technology, implementing lean practices, and added human capital.

Previously, Stadtmiller was Senior Director of Engineering and General Manger at Cresco Labs, directing engineering and facilities for cannabis cultivation and processing sites in California and Arizona.  In addition, he served numerous roles at Freudenberg Medical in Carpinteria, CA over a six-year tenure, including Director of Technology and Special Projects, Global Business Unit Silicones and Director of Engineering for a variety of innovative and life-saving medical devices.  His experience also includes seven-plus years at Depuy Synthes where, as Development Operations Manager, he led a cross-functional team of R&D, preclinical studies, product development engineering, regulatory, product management, manufacturing, quality, and legal affairs for the process development and commercialization of osteobiologic devices.

He began his career at 3M Unitek as Senior Product Development Engineer, managing a 22-person cross-functional team in new product development for innovative medical devices.

Stadtmiller holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and is proud of many professional accomplishments ranging from his election as President of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, to his recognition as Primary Inventor on two patents.
