AIDAN FOLEY

Named Chief Executive Officer of True Digital Surgery (TDS) in April 2019, Foley also serves as its Chairman of the Board. In 2006, he became an early investor of its predecessor company, TrueVision Systems, and, after joining its Board of Directors where he served for over 14 years, helped guide the organization to a very successful shareholder exit in 2018. He brings decades of executive-level experience from the Technology and Med Tech sectors to TDS.

Concurrently, Foley also serves as Chairman of the Board for Legend 3D, the multi-national film & television visual effects and 3D conversion company, where he led capital raises for the company from leading hedge funds and private equity groups, building the organization to over 600 people in three different countries.

He is Founder/CEO of corporate development company AF Double Eagle, through which Foley led an investment group that acquired, from News Corp., Fox Mobile, the global mobile network company distributing studio content in 17 countries. After designing and leading the Company’s turnaround efforts, and spearheading its growth, the company was sold three years after acquisition for over 28 times invested capital. Foley was also an investor and advisor to Beachfront Media, an ad management platform, sold, in another very successful exit, to Penny Pritzker, Founder and Chairman of PSP Partners and Growth Catalyst Partners.

Prior to AF Double Eagle, Foley was Chief Marketing Officer and President of the Enterprise Solutions Group at Ascent Media, a billion dollar, publicly traded, global digital media entertainment services company, owned by John Malone’s Liberty Media Corp.

Previously, Foley spent eight years as the head of Eastman Kodak’s Digital Motion Imaging Division, managing several global businesses concurrently, including hardware manufacturing, software, and services businesses. Key among these businesses was Cinesite, an award-winning visual effects company with operations in Los Angeles and London, with about 800 professionals, where he served as Chairman and CEO.
