John has had a successful and lengthy career in the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industry spanning over 25 years with experience in both Marketing and Sales from highly regarded organizations including Medtronic, Stryker and Merck. Most recently, he served as the Director of Commercial Marketing, Vascular Access, for North America at Teleflex where he led a multi-function commercial marketing team.
Previously, John held global Director level roles at Cantel Medical and Fresenius, as well as serving as the Senior Product Manager for Surgical and Powered Stapling at Medtronic. He brings deep experience with upstream and downstream marketing of capital equipment, intelligent software and consumable devices in the surgical, orthopedic and critical care spaces including visualization and navigation equipment.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Boston University, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and finance from Boston College.
John and wife Reymee, married for 15 years, have two daughters, Sofia (11) and Amelia (7), as well as a German Shepherd/Chow mix named Chloe (13). In his spare time, he enjoys staying active with tennis, Crossfit and world travel.
